SUMMARY:NO TO VIOLENCE MARAM COMMUNITIES of PRACTICE for PRACTITIONERS
DESCRIPTION:No to Violence is pleased to resume Communities of Practice for Year 2026\, with a focus on supporting and deepening practice around the Adult Using Family Violence (AUFV) MARAM Responsibilities and Tools. \nThis year\, NTV have planned combined monthly sessions for broader service sector and specialist family violence services to come together and share their experiences and network with the wider MARAM prescribed organisations across Victoria and Australia. Separate  sessions are provided for specialist practitioners and for leadership. \n\nNTV MARAM Community of Practice for Practitioners (Combined) – To be held MONTHLY (on the second Wednesday of every month)\, with the first of these sessions being a morning session 10:30am-12pm.\n\n  \n\nNTV MARAM Community of Practice for Leadership (Combined) – To be held MONTHLY (every second Wednesday of the month)\, with the first of these sessions being an afternoon session 1:00pm-2:30pm\n\n  \nAruna Ranga and Joel Davis (NTV MARAM Practice Leads) will continue to co-facilitate the sessions. \nBuilding on the extensive MARAM training delivered by the Workforce Development Team\, Aruna and Joel will support the consolidation of this knowledge into practice. Their focus is on strengthening practitioner confidence in using MARAM tools and supporting practice guidance with leaders\, as well as enhancing collaborative practice across both specialist family violence and MARAM prescribed broader services. \nNTV will continue co-delivering the Collaborative Webinar Series in partnership with Safe + Equal and the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare (CFECFW). This collaboration aims to deepen understanding and reinforce integrated practice across the service sector. \nThese Communities of Practice will continue supporting both specialist practitioners and the broader workforce\, as well as their leadership teams. They will provide a forum for shared learning\, peer support\, and ongoing professional development. \nThe Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework ensures services are effectively identifying\, assessing and managing family violence risk. \nThe Framework aims to support practitioners across Victoria working both in the specialist family violence sector and also the broader service sector (universal services) in responding to adults using family violence. \nCommunities of Practice \nOur Communities of Practice provide people with additional knowledge and expertise in understanding and working under the MARAM framework. Our focus is to support all those working in the specialist and broader service sector in responding to Adults Using Family Violence. \nPlease reach out to NTV MARAM Practice Leadership on maram.practice@ntv.org.au if you have any queries. \n  \nYou can register for NTV AUFV MARAM Communities of Practice through the links provided below. Agendas for each CoP will be sent prior to the session. \nPLEASE NOTE: These trainings are free for Practitioners and Team Leaders to attend and are external training opportunities to those provided by the South West Child and Family Services Alliance.

SUMMARY:NO TO VIOLENCE MARAM COMMUNITIES of PRACTICE for LEADERSHIP
